Account data: email, password (stored only as a hash), display name and role (diver or dive center).

Profile data: for divers, details such as certification level and number of dives; for dive centers, the public details of the center (name, location, contacts).

Content you enter: dives in your logbook, uploaded photos, spotted species, trips and bookings.

Usage data: aggregate, anonymous usage statistics collected in a cookieless way (see the Cookie policy).

Providing the service (creating your account, managing logbook, trips and bookings): legal basis is performance of the contract.

Ensuring security and correct operation: legitimate interest.

Improving the product through aggregate anonymous statistics: legitimate interest.

To run the service we rely on providers acting as data processors: Vercel (site hosting, cookieless analytics and image storage) and Neon (database). These providers may process data outside the European Union, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses).

We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for marketing.

We keep data for as long as needed to provide the service, while your account is active. You can ask to delete your account and associated data at any time.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to data portability. To exercise them, write to hello@flbanca.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

By default the exact location of dive sites and the names of your buddies stay private: public pages show only aggregate, anonymous data (e.g. counts), never your logs or personal photos.
