Pick the trip and book. The dive center confirms, and from that moment everything you need is there: time, meeting point, spots, and the forms to download and bring already filled in. No messages left hanging, no «I'll let you know», no signatures gathered in a rush on the dock. When you arrive, you're expected.
You already know where you'll descend
Every site has a living page: what the bottom is like, how deep you go, what gets spotted there and which centers dive it. You read it the night before and descend knowing what to look for.
Give a name to what you saw
That orange fish stops being «an orange fish». Search by name, or answer a few questions about colour, shape and habitat and Lumeris shows you the most likely Mediterranean species. Link it to your dive and it becomes the grouper you've seen seven times.
Every dive makes the next one better
A logbook preserves. A community builds. A personal diary keeps your dives safe, and that's where it ends: what you saw stays yours, and is of no use to anyone else. On Lumeris the species you add, the photos you upload, the details you correct make that site more readable for the diver who descends after you. And when you arrive somewhere new, you find the work of those who were there before. An archive ages. A shared sea gets better every time someone dives.
And the logbook writes itself
The logbook isn't why you use Lumeris. It's what's left after using it. Dives done with a center that uses Lumeris arrive ready and verified: site, date and depth correct, entered by whoever was in the water with you. The others you add in three fields, or import from a screenshot of the SSI app. You only add what nobody can add for you.
The thread with your dive center
A dive has never been only yours: it also belongs to whoever took you there. On Lumeris that bond stays written. You find the centers you dived with, the trips they run, the sites they took you to. Your center stops being a phone number in your contacts and goes back to being a place to return to.

For divers Lumeris is free: your memories aren't for sale. The project will be supported by dive centers. Your story doesn't belong to an agency or a brand: it doesn't disappear if you change certification, center or computer. And it stays private, because the exact location of sites and the names of your buddies are hidden, unless you choose otherwise.
Frequently asked questions
- Do I have to install an app?
- No. Lumeris works from the browser, on phone and computer, with the same account everywhere. If you prefer, add it to your Home screen and it opens like any other diving app.
- How do I find dives near me?
- Open Lumeris and search around you: you'll see the trips dive centers have scheduled, with time, dive site and available spots. It works for your next holiday destination too, so you arrive already knowing where you'll dive.
- Is Lumeris free?
- Yes, for divers it's free, now and in future. We're in beta and the project will be supported by dive centers, not by divers.
- Do I need to dive with a center to use it?
- No. You can log your dives on your own, with friends, from shore. The link with a center is a bonus, not a requirement: when you dive with a center that uses Lumeris, the dive arrives ready and verified.
- How is it different from a logbook app?
- Logbook apps start when the dive is over. Lumeris starts before: you find the trip, book your spot, study the site, recognise the species. The logbook is the consequence, not the point.
- Can I bring the dives I've already done?
- Yes. Add them by hand or import them from a screenshot of the SSI app: Lumeris reads the data and lets you review and fix it before saving. Nothing is made up.
- Is my data mine?
- Yes. The exact location of sites and the names of your buddies stay private by default, and your story follows you even if you change certification, center or computer.
